All Stars Helping Kids sends a big THANK YOU to Justin Tuck, his wife Lauran, and their R.U.S.H. for Literacy program, which provides low-income children in Alabama, New York, New Jersey and California with access to age and culturally appropriate books to combat summer learning loss, and other efforts to close the educational opportunity gap that exists for low-income Americans.
R.U.S.H. for Literacy recently used the platform of Super Bowl 50 to provide a $250,000 grant to the Re(a)d Zone, a signature literacy initiative with partners from the 50 Fund, the legacy fund of the Super Bowl 50 Host Committee, and the Campaign for Grade-Level Reading.
We also want to give a warm congratulations to Justin who recently announced his retirement from the NFL. After 11 years, he’s made a huge impact both on and off the field and has been admired by teammates and fans alike. All Stars Helping Kids is thankful to be part of this journey, and we look forward to continuing to partner with Justin and Lauran to combat the cycle of poverty for the children who need it most.
Thank you Justin and Lauran from the All Stars Helping Kids Team, Ronnie and Karen Lott, the Board of Directors, and especially the schools, kids, and families of our All Stars community!
