Eric’s Vision ALS Walk

2016 ALS Walk

On April 30th, 2016, Ronnie Lott and All Stars Helping Kids joined Eric’s Vision for the 6th Annual ALS Walk For A Cure. Supporters throughout the community came out to Tracy Toyota to walk, donate and raise awareness about ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), an incurable disease that causes paralysis. The event raised an amazing $21,495 toward research for a cure!

Eric’s Vision was founded in 2008 by Eric Scoggins, his wife Shonta, and his friends. A former professional football player diagnosed with ALS, Eric channeled his talent, determination, time and resources toward finding a cure for the disease until his passing in 2009. Today, Eric’s Vision continues under the leadership of his wife Shonta, who is carrying on Eric’s passion to raise awareness and support for individuals diagnosed with ALS. Shonta’s work provides local ALS patients and their families with practical resources, as well as connections with healthcare providers and doctors.
