How He's in the Game

Domonique Foxworth has focused the majority of his community outreach on the Boys and Girls Club of Denver. He originally collaborated with the Boys and Girls Club to raise funds to build a teen center yet, after getting to know the staff and children, Domonique began leading an after-school writing program. Since then, Domonique is taking his philanthropic endeavors a step further and is currently in the process of creating a program for middle and high school underprivileged boys and will provide tutoring, mentoring, writing skills, social skills to help them live to their potential.

Domonique was a nominee for the Walter Payton Man of the Year in 2007, as well as the 2007 Humanitarian Award from the Denver Broncos.

Domonique Foxworth draws his inspiration from civil rights leaders such as Martin Luther King Jr., Jackie Robinson, Rosa Parks, and Jesse Owens who proved that a person can have a lasting impact on the their community, regardless of their financial status. Domonique also turned the tragic loss of a close friend and teammate into a legacy by naming the teen center at the Boys and Girls Club in his honor.
